What is a Hero's Wish?

All, Thank you for granting my wish this year. It has been a hard year with combat deployments and other personnel things in my life. This day is a day that I will never forget. Again thank you. Respectfully MSGT Sagredo Ismael

Hero's Wish Veteran Tickets Foundation is proud to bring the Hero's Wish program to our members!

Deployed, wounded and families of those killed in action are shouldering the hardest burdens of military service. Their duty has impacted their lives in ways the rest of America can only imagine. To relieve their burden of stress Vet Tix would like to give a once in a lifetime event to these Heroes. Hero's Wish events create wonderful experiences that they can always remember to heal their spirit and bring them together as a family. For those who have suffered, we want to welcome them back and bring enjoyment back into their lives.

Hero's Wish allows members who meet certain criteria to request specific tickets for any single event (NOTE: We are not capable of fulfilling meet and greets, trips, cruises, hotel stays or flights), and have donors fulfill that request either by ticket donation or by donating money to make the hero's wish come true.

The Hero's Wish program can be used by Active Duty Military Personnel (up to six months after their deployments), severely wounded Veterans (Purple Heart Required) and the families of men and woman killed in action (KIA).

After submitting a Hero's Wish, Vet Tix will work with the veteran to verify the Hero's Wish requirements are met. If all criteria are met, a member of the Hero's Wish will be assigned to facilitate wish fulfillment. Veteran Tickets Foundation does not discriminate based on race, religion, sex or social status.

The Vet Tix Hero's Wish team and other volunteers explore possible ways to make the Hero's Wish come true for our veteran. Most Hero's Wishes are funded on a case by case basis with funds donated through the website and by the Hero's Wish team working hard with our donors and venues to make the Hero's Wish a reality.

Help Fulfill a Hero's Wish

Want to help Veteran Tickets Foundation fulfill the wish of one of America's heroes? There are two ways you can help us honor these special members:

  • Make a ticket donation. Simply visit the Hero's Wish page and select a wish that you'd like to help Vet Tix fulfill.
  • Don't have tickets to donate? No problem! You can always support a hero by making a monetary donation toward the wish you select and Vet Tix will purchase the tickets.

New wishes are being submitted all the time, so we encourage you to view the hero's wish page as often as you can.

Thanks to everyone that made our Disneyland Dream a reality! We really appreciate what you do for our military families! Thank you for all your support!

Submit A Hero's Wish

Are you Currently Serving Military (six months after a deployment, or while on leave from deployment), a severely wounded Veteran (Purple Heart Required) or a family member of someone who was killed in action (KIA)?

If you are and you have not received a wish from another wish-granting organization, then you are eligible for our Hero's Wish Program! All you need to do is complete a few easy steps and Veteran Tickets Foundation will get started on making your Hero's Wish come true!

NOTE: Veteran is allowed to submit 1 (ONE) lifetime wish. If wish goes unfilled, that still counts as your one lifetime wish.

Post Deployment Family trip to Walt Disney World
My name is SGT Aaron Keehn. I have a beautiful family. An amazing wife and beautiful 4 yr old little girl named Lily Rose. I am presently completing a 9 month deployment over seas, which resulted in me missing out on holiday and family events, including my daughter's 4th birthday. I would love to take my wife and daughter to Walt Disney World upon return from deployment. This is my second deployment, and I can't think of a better way to make up for lost memories, than building new ones at Walt Disney World. I would like to make a Hero’s Wish to request (3) Disney World 5-day park hopper tickets for my family.

Disney World- Princess Anna's dream - 5-day park hopper plus passes
My name is SSG Pamela Garcia. I am on month 5 out of 9 and by the time I return home it will be exactly 12 months of being away from my adorable Princess (Anna). Her dream for the past few years has been to go to Disney World. My wish is for three 5-day park hopper plus passes for Disney World. Being a single mom in both roles is difficult, just a week ago my Anna asked me if we can please go to Disney Upon my redeployment at the end of the summer, especially because I missed her last birthday and upon my return will be two in row. I love the military and serving my country but it is time to recognize also the time I have to be apart from my little one. My Mother Maria is an amazing Angel that has supported my dreams of being in the military and been an Angel taking care of my princess while I am not around. I would really appreciate if you can support me with our wish, it will mean the world to us. Sadly, not even two months after my return I have to go to another training that will enhance my career but will pull me away too soon from my princess, and so being able to take her to Disney World with Grandma (My mom) as she wishes will help comfort for a little-bit and make new memories for the ones missed. Anna will be 7 Years Old on June, I have not been there to accompany her to blow her candles, since her 5th birthday. Sometimes we think of how hard is t be away from our families and how sad it makes us, then yet how sad makes them when we are away not cherishing moments that are so important to all of us. Thank you for the support and helping us make this wish come true.

Disney World my family for Christmas
My name is Michael Emerick. I am a combat wounded veteran that served in Afghanistan. During my 16 month deployment I was involved in numerous firefights and sustained a traumatic brain injury after being shot in the helmet. I suffer from debilitating migraine headaches, neck and back issues, double/blurred vision and PTSD. After my deployment I decided that I didn't want to raise a family in the military. I was honorably discharged and moved to Texas to go to Universal Technical Institute. I graduated at the top of my class only to realize that I could not sustain long hours of working underneath vehicles with my back and neck issues. I am now a full time Dad taking care of our five children while my wife works to support our family. Christmas time with five children is incredibly chaotic. We love our large family, but sometimes the joy of Christmas is overshadowed by gifts. We decided we would love to take our five children to Disney World to create lasting memories rather than give them gifts. However, Disney World tickets are much more expensive than we could've imagined, especially for a family of seven.

George Strait concert
My name is SSG Larry Schwab. I met my wife in Texas 31 years ago in 1988. I was stationed at Ft. Hood Texas 2nd armor Division. We had tickets to go to see George Strait in Temple Texas and had been dating for about 3 months. On our way to the Concert my girlfriend and I realized that we were in love and both wanted to get married immediately. We never did make it to the George Strait concert. Please know that we have no regrets. We would have traded anything to be together forever. We became so busy with raising seven children one handicapped And in 1990 being sent to Desert Shield which turned into desert storm and then being wounded in a mine field just inside Kuwait. I was awarded the Purple Heart but could no longer serve. We never got the chance to see George Strait. We've always wanted to, But never got the chance. Our handicapped son was born with Pradre Willie Syndrome He is now 26 and was declared a helpless child by the VA and will live with us his whole life. In 2016 I suffered a widow maker heart attack and now have to carry nitro with me. My wife Debbie and I would still very much like to see George Straight in concert. We are sure that if we don't get to see him soon we never will. It would mean the world to us as that is where we were headed when our life together started. ‎Sat ‎24 ‎Aug, ‎2019 – ‎8‎:‎00‎ ‎PM George Strait 08.24 - Troubadour with Ashley McBryde T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas NV Thank you and God Bless!

Family Disney World Trip
Hello, I'm MSgt Gregory Plumley. I just returned from my 2nd deployment to Iraq as an air traffic controller. We had a good deployment, I met some great people and learned a lot... Before I deployed my wife who is also AD was deployed to Ukraine and did not make it back before I left. We have spent quite a bit of time apart this past year. We have been married for almost 11 years and have 3 sons: Gage (8), Foster (5), and Thatcher (4). The boys did a great job holding down the fort with Honey (their Grandma) while we were gone which is why we would love to surprise them with a trip to Disney. Our wish is for a family trip to Disney World! We would love to have the opportunity for a stress free vacation to Disney World and stay at Shades of Green Resort. We would need 5 tickets as we have three boys! They are at the perfect age for us to all enjoy and remember this trip forever.
