What is a Hero's Wish?

All, Thank you for granting my wish this year. It has been a hard year with combat deployments and other personnel things in my life. This day is a day that I will never forget. Again thank you. Respectfully MSGT Sagredo Ismael

Hero's Wish Veteran Tickets Foundation is proud to bring the Hero's Wish program to our members!

Deployed, wounded and families of those killed in action are shouldering the hardest burdens of military service. Their duty has impacted their lives in ways the rest of America can only imagine. To relieve their burden of stress Vet Tix would like to give a once in a lifetime event to these Heroes. Hero's Wish events create wonderful experiences that they can always remember to heal their spirit and bring them together as a family. For those who have suffered, we want to welcome them back and bring enjoyment back into their lives.

Hero's Wish allows members who meet certain criteria to request specific tickets for any single event (NOTE: We are not capable of fulfilling meet and greets, trips, cruises, hotel stays or flights), and have donors fulfill that request either by ticket donation or by donating money to make the hero's wish come true.

The Hero's Wish program can be used by Active Duty Military Personnel (up to six months after their deployments), severely wounded Veterans (Purple Heart Required) and the families of men and woman killed in action (KIA).

After submitting a Hero's Wish, Vet Tix will work with the veteran to verify the Hero's Wish requirements are met. If all criteria are met, a member of the Hero's Wish will be assigned to facilitate wish fulfillment. Veteran Tickets Foundation does not discriminate based on race, religion, sex or social status.

The Vet Tix Hero's Wish team and other volunteers explore possible ways to make the Hero's Wish come true for our veteran. Most Hero's Wishes are funded on a case by case basis with funds donated through the website and by the Hero's Wish team working hard with our donors and venues to make the Hero's Wish a reality.

Help Fulfill a Hero's Wish

Want to help Veteran Tickets Foundation fulfill the wish of one of America's heroes? There are two ways you can help us honor these special members:

  • Make a ticket donation. Simply visit the Hero's Wish page and select a wish that you'd like to help Vet Tix fulfill.
  • Don't have tickets to donate? No problem! You can always support a hero by making a monetary donation toward the wish you select and Vet Tix will purchase the tickets.

New wishes are being submitted all the time, so we encourage you to view the hero's wish page as often as you can.

Thanks to everyone that made our Disneyland Dream a reality! We really appreciate what you do for our military families! Thank you for all your support!

Submit A Hero's Wish

Are you Currently Serving Military (six months prior to combat deployment, six months after a deployment, or while on leave from deployment), a severely wounded Veteran (Purple Heart Required) or a family member of someone who was killed in action (KIA)?

If you are and you have not received a wish from another wish-granting organization, then you are eligible for our Hero's Wish Program! All you need to do is complete a few easy steps and Veteran Tickets Foundation will get started on making your Hero's Wish come true!

NOTE: Veteran is allowed to submit 1 (ONE) lifetime wish. If wish goes unfilled, that still counts as your one lifetime wish.

Disney World Park Hopper tickets
Hello, my name is Bryan Silveri and I am currently deployed over seas where I have been since the beginning of September and I am due back sometime in April. This is my 6th deployment in 13 years and this has also been the most stressful and difficult one. It has been hard on me, but it has also taken a toll on my family. My 7yr old daughter Lucy and my 5yr old son Jackson are now old enough to understand that I am gone and it will be long time. It's especially hard on my son be he is Autistic and constantly fixates/obsesses over me being gone, if I am safe, or when I will be back home. So he has been extremely repetitive lately. Aside from that, this has really been difficult for my wife, because she is managing our son alone, along with my very delightful and helpful daughter. I would like to take them to Disney World in hopes of making up for all the birthdays, holidays, dr. appts, therapy appts, and events I have missed out on. I think everyone will enjoy it and it will give my wife hope again that everything will be fine. It will also help with my son obsessing over seeing Mickey! I miss home and I miss my family and I need this to help transition us as a family again, because after all, we are all human. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Disney World Vacation
My name is SSG Ryan Bock, I recently returned from South Korea being away from my children and not seeing them for 1 year. I am recently divorced and happily remarried and now am the father to 4 wonderful children ranging in ages from 7-11 (2 Boys - 2 Girls). My family, with our conflicting schedules due to custody agreements have never been able to take all 4 of the children anywhere together nor spend holidays together. I would like the chance to take all 4 children and my wonderful wife who is currently going to school to become a doctor to Disney World. With my wife's school schedule she is unable to work currently and also a 100% Disabled Veteran after her 7 years of service. Granting this wish would be an amazing sight to see all 4 children together having the time of their life in the happiest place on earth. Thank you for your help sincerely. I will need 6 tickets total. One for each family member.

Disneyland: Our 1st Family Trip (Post Deployment)
My name is 1SG Delarna, I have served 19 years in the Army and I am currently on my 7th deployment in Kuwait. I did 3 tours to Iraq, 2 to Afghanistan, 1 to Haiti and 1 to Kuwait. Being a Combat Engineer my job is risky. Three of my deployments were just searching for IED’s & doing rock clearance. Along with myself, my family has made many sacrifices throughout the years. After returning home this summer, I would like to thank them by taking our first family vacation together. My wife & I have been married for six years and have yet to have a honeymoon. Life just seems to fly by when you’re being deployed or pcsing every 2-3 years. We have a blended family with seven children(19, 16, 14, 13, 12, 7 & 2 mts) with our newest being born during this deployment. Thankfully, I was given one week leave and made it home the day before his arrival. Due to health reasons he experienced extended hospital stays, for that he has yet to meet his three older siblings. Our son doesn’t even know it yet but he has brought our blended family even closer! Seeing all seven smiling faces together for the first time will be a moment to cherish a lifetime! We are a family of 9 but will need 8 tickets. We do understand that it is highly unlikely our wish will be fully granted. We’re hoping at the least, we are blessed with some of the tickets to help offset the cost. Our one wish for our family is to take our first family trip to the happiest place on earth, Disneyland!!!

Disney World - Post Deployment with my family
I am CW3 Dennis White, a member of the Indiana National Guard with the 38th Sustainment Brigade, currently serving in Kuwait in support of several operations. I have been blessed to serve my State and this great Nation for over 23 years. I am married to Angela and have three boys Shad, Jaden and Brenner as well as a sweet girl, Brayleigh. All of my kids and especially my wife, have made countless sacrifices in order for me to serve. I have missed countless anniversaries (2 back to back these past years), birthdays, and a majority of my son's Senior year in High School. I also coach sports for my hometown school, Paul Hadley Middle School, as a lay coach and have missed this years sports teams and the ability to coach and mentor young student athletes. I really want to represent them and my family well while serving and want to take my family to Disney as a thank you for their enduring sacrifices they make so that I can do the job I love. I would love to take the family to Disney World after my deployment. The past year even for the train up has been non-stop with over 8 weeks on and off of training and now this deployment. Would love to be able to spend time with my family of 6 at Disney World. We have had to table trips because of many other time demanding events and need some away time as a family. It would be a true privilege to receive this Wish of 6, 5 day Armed Forces Salute tickets in order to treat my family to a well deserved get away. Thank you for your consideration and thank you for supporting this who serve.

Louder Than Life Concert Weekend
My name is SSG Tanner Kuth. I would love to attend the Louder than life music festival in September 28-30 with my fiance and my kids. We would be driving up from Georgia and camping for the event. I was injured in an IED blast in Afghanistan in 2009 breaking my neck, back, butt, and both feet and legs. Ultimately I lost my left leg below the knee and went 70% blind in my right eye.

Disney World Vacation Park Hopper + passes
My name is SSgt Charles Kenney. I am active duty Air Force deployed from the 6th Security Forces Squadron. My family and I have been stationed at MacDill AFB for five years and there has not been a chance to relax and cherish what we have and reward my wife for holding the family together like she always does. Our oldest son was attacked by a dog requiring extensive facial surgeries, our youngest son required two surgical procedures while he was an infant and had failure to thrive, my wife required two medical surgeries, and I required back surgery in 2016 due to a military training exercise injury. I was not sure if I would ever return to active duty. It seems like the last five years has been one crisis after another. As grateful as we are for our positive experiences at MacDill AFB we are ready for me to return from this deployment, take one final family vacation, and head to the next chapter in our lives. Our youngest sons have never had the magical experience of Disney World and I would love to reward the entire family for standing by my side throughout my military service and always supporting me even when times were extremely stressful. I would like to take my family to Disney World when for a family reintegration vacation. Although Disney World will not make up for the lost time with their Dad, I would like to create new unforgettable memories with my kids that will last a lifetime and bring all five of us closer together and reunite as a family!
